Wie erkennt man einen under the table Deal?
Wie bereits besprochen ist von under the table Deals abzuraten, da diese für den Spieler ein nicht zu vernachlässigendes Risiko darstellen. Klar, manche Deals funktionieren einwandfrei weil man einen soliden Affiliate der brav seine Verdienste weitergibt. Aber viele tun dies eben nicht, oder sind eigentlich brav und solide, verlieren aber ihren Deal weil sie zum Beispiel illegal zuviel Rakeback weitergeben, oder warum auch immer.
Under the table Deals erkennt man ganz einfach daran, dass der Affiliate irgendwelche Daten der Spieler braucht. Meist ist das der Username, der zur Identifikation dient. Der under the table Affiliate bekommt dann regelmäßig eine Liste seiner Spieler und wieviel Rake sie gemacht haben. Auf dieser Grundlage gibt er dann Rakeback an die Spieler weiter (oder auch nicht).
Es ist kein under the table Deal wenn der Affiliate nicht einmal den Usernamen der Spieler braucht. Dann das ist ein Indiz, dass die Spieler auf eine andere Weise, nämlich vom Pokerraum selbst bezahlt werden.
Also bei under the table Deals immer darauf achten, ob der Affiliate einen Usernamen braucht. Wenn ja, ist es wahrscheinlich ein under the table Deal. Wenn nicht, übernimmt die Zahlung der Pokerraum selbst und es ist kein under the table Deal.
How to spot an under the table deal
We already talked about the risk of under the table rakeback deals. Sure, some deals work well and there’s no reason to complain if you have a solid affiliate that pays on a regular basis. But a lot of them don’t do that. Or maybe they are solid and serious but lose their deal, quit the business or whatever. There’s a lot that can happen.
You can spot under the table deals when the affiliate asks for certain data like a username or the email you registred with. He needs this data to track you write and that he’s able to pay the rakeback (under the table).
But it can’t be an under the table deal if the affiliate doesn’t ask for a username or has no interest in receiving it. Then the rakeback will be paid by the room itself and not by the affiliate.
So you have to be careful if an affiliate asks for your username when offering rakeback. Then it seems that it’s an under the rakeback deal and you shouldn’t go with it.
Be cautious with 2+2 offers
There’s no doubt that 2+2 is the biggest and probably best poker forum out there. But ist size is not only a bless because there are a lot of crooks out there trying to make some money. A very new wave are unserious rakeback offers especially for ipoker and ongame.
You have to take a look at the Affiliates/Rakeback section at 2+2. There you can ask for offers (through PM) and will receive a lot of offers. But lots of these offers will be from unserious affiliates that offer under the table deals. Under the table deals are very risky because only the affiliate is responsible for that and if the affiliate is not serious you have a problem. He may be on vacation, can’t pay or whatever he claims when the money is not coming. These are all signs that he’s a crook and wants to make some quick cash.
Of course there are also serious affiliates that pay you on a regular basis. But in general you have to be cautious with such deals. The best case if the deal was initiated through the skin itself. That means that you will receive your rakeback in your player account on a regular basis and the affiliate only receives his commission and not your rakeback!
Sure, the skin might get problems with ipoker and has to pay a penalty. But this won’t be the end of the skin. An affiliate relationship is terminated quickly though and there’s an additional risk with such under the table deals.
Achtung vor 2+2
Keine Frage, 2+2 ist das beste Pokerforum der Welt und für jeden Pokerspieler eine wichtige Ressource. Allerdings ist die Größe auch nicht immer ein Segen, denn deswegen treiben sich auch viele herum, die eben nicht die seriösesten sind. Klar, so kommen manche an Spieler, aber du solltest nicht darauf hineinfallen. Denn der Großteil der Angebote ist unseriös und ein “under the table” Deal. Ein Deal, der mit dem Pokerraum NICHT abgesprochen ist und der Affiliate das Geld irgendwie an den Spieler weiterschickt. Das ist problematisch wie bereits in diesem Artikel: under the table ipoker Rakeback angesprochen wurde.
Klar, man bekommt viele Angebote, aber davon sind meist keine brauchbaren dabei und man sollte die Finger davon lassen.
